ML Engineer
(Speech-Focused)
Job Description
We are on a mission to protect voice data in the age of AI. Our work includes voice anonymization, deepfake detection and adversarial robustness. Our real-time speech models have already processed more than a million minutes in production and support applications that need privacy, security and performance.
As an ML Engineer (Speech-Focused), you will work closely with experienced researchers and engineers and gradually take responsibility for parts of our speech pipeline. Your work will involve practical tasks such as data preparation, experiment automation and deployment support. We are a small, fast-moving team, so you will learn quickly by contributing to real systems with guidance from others.
What You Will Work On
- Help build and maintain infrastructure for deploying PyTorch models at scale with support from the team
- Prepare, clean and manage datasets across multiple languages and tasks
- Support the development and optimisation of training and evaluation pipelines for speech models
- Automate recurring processes using Docker and our internal tools
- Contribute to evaluating model quality and monitoring performance metrics
You do not need to be an expert on day one. We expect you to learn as you go, ask questions and grow into these areas.
What Makes You a Good Fit
- Good Python skills and some experience with PyTorch
- Familiarity with Linux and common command-line tools
- Interest in machine learning and applied research
- Ability to take ownership of smaller tasks once given direction
- Curiosity about speech and audio processing or willingness to learn it
Nice to Have
- Experience with experiment tracking tools such as W&B or MLflow
- Familiarity with basic cloud tools and version control such as Git, AWS or GCP
